Dinner and Moive Night OutFit - Plus Size Fashion

3
Afternoon my little jellybeans hope you all have that Friday feeling!
Today I'm bring you a little plus size outfit inspiration. I got this amazing new coat from Asos and wanted a chance to show it off and share it with all you lovely people. In with that I thought I would show one of the new sales dresses I got in my plus size January sales post.

ASOS CURVE Exclusive Fit & Flare Coat With Belted Waist

Now this is the first coat I have purchased in quite some years as I'm not a huge fan on them as I have found most coats don't really fit my shape that well and end up making me look like a big box.
I had heard good things about the Asos curve fit and flare coats and when I saw this little beauty in the sale I thought I would give it a go. I'm so glad I did, this coat fits me like a glove! I love the belted waist as this help to define my figure and gives me a lovely shape. My favourite part of the cost has to be the dipped hem at the back I think it just gives this cost a little something extra. The coat has a felted wool feel and is super warm an cosy. This cost is available in the colours wine and navy and started off at £70 and is not available here for £35.
(while looking up links I may have just ordered this in the wine colour as well....whoops!)

Black And White Monochrome Block Stripe Skater Dress

So you may have already seen this dress in the sales clothing haul video I did, lots of you asked if you could see the dresses on so when I decided to wear this new dress to meet my friends for dinner and a movie I though I would take the opportunity to show you how it actually looks on. I'm 5ft 4in so you have some prospective of how long the dress might be on you. I did originally order this in my usual size but it was a little big so I took it back and sized down and now the fit is perfect. I love the little cut down the cleavage as it shows enough to be a little sexy but not enough to be all in your face. I love that when I twirl in this dress is goes out a little, I always wanted dresses like that as a kid I think that was the effect Disney movies had on me. The fit is amazing it shows off all the right curves and hides the lumps and bumps. I am wearing it with a yours clothing think pink waterfall cardigan to add a touch of colour, unfortunately this cardigan is no longer available however they do have a very similar one in purple available here. This dress is available here for £35.

If you liked this type of post and would like to see more where I try on different outfits then please leave me a comment. Hope you all have a lovely weekend and I'll see you Monday.

Yours Clothing Sales Dresses - Plus Size Fashion

3
Afternoon my little lovelies! So I popped over to the shopping centre the other day to exchange some dresses I bought that were too big but when I was in the shop I accidently bought a couple of other items.....whoops! in my defence they were in the sale and in my size so I took it as a sign from the powers that be.
Anyway when I did my last clothing videos/post you guys wanted to actually see me wearing the clothes so I took your advice and did just that. Do let me know if you like me doing it this way.

Black & Nude Pink Floral Lace Sleeveless Skater Prom Dress

I fell in love with this sleeveless skater prom dress when I first saw it hanging there on the rail calling my name. Gorgeous black lace over a delicate nude pink background. The bust is lightly padded and the under skirt is made up of a lovely silky material with a mesh trim which creates the lovely flared out effect.
This dress is made from a pretty stretchy material and I could of in fact even sized down so if your above the size 28 that this item goes up to it could still work as the fit is very generous. I really like the V-cut of this dress as it shows a little sexy cleavage without being too in your face so still a very appropriate dress for most formal occasions. The starting price for the dress was £60 but its now available here for £32 which I believe is an amazing price for such a good quality piece.

Red & Black Glitter Flocked Skater Dress With Patent Belt

Now this second dress isn't my usual style really, I had seen it in yours for a while and just passed it by but I happened to have seen another plus size blogger wearing it on instagram and it look so nice on her that when I saw it in the sale I just had to try it on.
This is another sleeveless skater style dress with a scooped neck and all over floral design with a lovely glitter effect. This dress does come with a skinny patient black belt around the middle however for me this kind of cut my body shape in two, so I decided to take that belt out and add a thicker one myself just under the bust giving me a much better shape.
The dress started off at £35 and is now available here for £18.40.

Treaclemoon Candy Jar Marshmallow Bath & Shower Gel

0

So I've used a few of the treacle moon shower gels before and have loved them from my 1st shower, my absolute favourite up to this point was the special edition they realised for Christmas called warm cinnamon nights I haven't been able to find it for the last 2 Christmas's though which I'm gutted about!
When I spotted this little beauty in my local Tesco I couldn't wait to try it! Mostly because anyone who knows me knows I'm obsessed with marshmallows.

This like all the other treacle moon products I have tried has a perfect formula that lathers up tremendously, leaving my skin so silky smooth and the best part is the sent lingers on the skin long after your shower is over, it also makes my bathroom smell delicious.

The scent is AMAZING it really does smell like marshmallows in fact it reminds me most of those little marshmallows you get in lucky charms. Its a very sweet totally girly scrummy yummy scent.

Treacle moon is exclusive to Tesco, next time your perusing the aisles I defiantly recommend having a little sniff of this beauty and at only £2.99 for 500ml its worth a punt isn't it.

St Ives Face Scrub

0
Good Afternoon and a happy Monday to you! I've decided to kick the week off with a review of a lovely little product I have been using since I was a teen. It is of course the St Ives facial scrub.
St Ives have a few variations of this product in the facial scrub line;
Apricot Gentle Scrub - For sensitive skin
Apricot Invigorating Scrub  - For normal skin
Renew and Firm Scrub - For mature skin.
Apricot Blemish Control Scrub - For problem skin

Apricot Blemish Control Scrub
Oil-free - 2% salicylic acid • dermatologist-tested • 100% natural exfoliants • 100% natural extracts

This is one of my favourite scrubs, being as I have do have blemish prone skin. The blemish control scrub as you would expect has a very grainy texture however the light creamy formula of the base makes it perfectly easy to wash off. So guess what this apricot scrub smells like.......yep apricots! Its a nice light scent though and only last as long as the scrub is on your face.
I exfoliate with this scrub every other day as they recommend using 3-4 times a week. After using this scrub when applying my moisturiser I can defiantly feel the benefits, my face is defiantly smooth as a baby's bum! My main problem area would be my nose, those pesky blackheads! this scrub has done a pretty good job at keeping them at bay.
I love the extremely grainy texture as to me it feels like its really doing the job, that may just be all in my head though. If you do have a rather angry breakout area I would avoid using this scrub directly on that area, as it may be a little harsh. Try to just work around it.

I have used many face scrubs in my time but I always come back to this one, even when using other face scrubs I like to keep a bottle of this in my drawer as back up and at £3.99 you cant really go wrong can you. Even better news it that its on offer at Superdrug for only £1.98 if that's not a bargain I don't know what is!

Benefit Hello Flawless Powder Review

0
Hey Guys! This blogging thing is going quite well so far isn't it. Almost a whole week :)  and I'm loving it.

So as I did a review of the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Foundation a few days ago I thought it would be good to also review the Hello Flawless Powder as this is my favourite go to foundation combo.
This powered foundation boasts clams to be totally customizable coverage with an SPF15.

Colour: Benefit has 10 shades in this line, I bought this at the same time as I bought the Hello Flawless Oxygen Foundation and was colour matched for both at the benefit counter. I am the shade Ivory "gee I'm swell" this is a perfect match for me. I think the range of colours available is pretty extensive, most people would be able to find their perfect match.

Formula/Texture: I adore this silky powered its very smooth and goes on like silk. This powder glides onto the skin and is very sheer, I tend just to lightly sweep it over my entire face with a large powered brush for a light even coverage that keeps that oily shine at bay. However as this a customizable product so the coverage is buildable and in slight problems areas I often use a little more, dabbing it on with the sponge provided, even when building the product up I have always managed to avoid that terrible "cakey" look.  Like it says in the title this formula defiantly gives you a flawless finish.

Price: This powder retails for £25.50 which to me for a powder is quite pricy, considering the product I used before this was under £5. However for this product I am willing to pay the higher price and it does last a long time and the flawless effect is defiantly worth it, I'm yet to find another powered that matches up.

SPF: This powder has an SPF15 which is pretty good as powders go. I would always recommend using product with a higher SPF underneath though.

What I Think: Get ready for my rave! I Love Love Love this powder! This was the 1st Benefit product I tried and it totally converted me to the brand. The colour blends with my skin tone perfectly and glides on like smooth fairy dust! I don't know how it does what it does it must be magic! I have never found a product that makes my skin look so naturally flawless and airbrushed. I carry this with me everywhere I go, even though I barely have to touch up as it last pretty much an entire day.
If I had to recommend any benefit product this would be top of the list. It really is true love for me.

Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Foundation Review

1
Afternoon guys! Hope your all having a lovely day. I'm here today with a review of my go to holy grail foundation. I have been using this product for just over a year now, and I wanted to share my thoughts on it with you.
This is the first liquid foundation by benefit and was 3 years in the making. Its oil free and boasts an 25.SPF.

Colour: Benefit have realised 9 shades in this range, I was colour matched at the counter and my shade is Ivory (believe in me) I would highly recommend going to a benefit counter and being colour matched as they did a brilliant job with me, the colour is perfect. I think the range of colours is pretty good, however I do believe there is definitely room for a couple of more darker shades and possibly one shade lighter then the lightest they have on offer.

Formula/Texture: I absolutely love this formula its silky smooth and goes onto the skin so well, it blends brilliantly weather using a brush, sponge or your finger tips. I personally like to put it on just using my fingers as to me it blends best this way.  Once blended it really is like a second skin. I have a slight issue with uneven skin tone and this foundation  has done an incredible job at combating that. I have also found a little of this goes a long way, unless you have any major skin issues a 20p coin size amount is more then adequate to cover my entire face, chin and neck. The coverage is light to medium, it doesn't cover all blemishes but the upside of this is it look so natural, your skins just shines through. With this being an oil free formula it gives the skin a lovely matt finish and as someone who has suffered with that dreaded oily skin shine I love the matt look.

Price: This foundation retails at £24.50 for 30mls, which is defiantly the higher end for me however I think a good foundation is worth the price. If you start with a good base you can afford to use cheaper products over the top.

SPF: Contains SPF25 which it absolutely perfect, meaning it is perfect to wear all year round. Although SPF is not good for photography as it can give the pictures a weird effect.

What I think – I really like this foundation, the colour is perfect for me, and I'm in love with the glowing yet matt effect it has on my skin. Yes it is slightly pricy but it does last for ages. This is defiantly one of my top go to products and I imagine it will be for a long time to come.

New Year Resolutions 2015

2
Hey Guys, hope your all having a super lovely day, and enjoying 2015 so far...

I am a big believer in setting new year resolutions, even if you don't stick with any of them I think its important to at least attempt to achieve some life goals you never know what it might lead to. There is no better time to start something new then the beginning of a band new year. I am always fill with excitement at the possibilities that lay ahead in the next 365 days, although it may all go tits up by week two. Non the less I always set a few goals for myself, and this year I have decided to share them with you in the vain that perhaps sharing my goals with the world may make me put in extra effort to complete them.

1. Blog More
I thought I would start with this one as its obviously about this blog. My goal is to write a post 5 days a week Monday to Friday. I love writing and this is a perfect outlet for me.

2. YouTube More
This one is a lot like the 1st I want to put a lot more time into my YouTube channel and really make a go of it. Since November I have been making more effort where YouTube is concerned and have been loving it. I want to increase that even more this year so I will be going from 1 video a week on a Friday to 3 a week; Monday, Wednesday & Fridays.

3. Read More
I love to read but it somehow always gets pushed to the bottom of the list, well this year I am to read 2 books a month. I think this should be very achievable. This would also include audio books.

4. Do A 5K
Now I say do a 5k rather then run a 5k as I think that might be slightly too ambitious at the moment. My plan is to walk/jog/power walk the 5k. This might not seem a lot to some but to me would be a big achievement.

5. Go To Bed/Wake up Earlier
I am a terrible night owl I think that's just my natural body clock. My average bedtime at the moment it about 5am and I have been sleeping till 2pm! I think its about time I change that. So i am to get to bed by midnight and get up at 10am. This should be very doable.

6. Say Yes
I have been thinking about this one for a long time, ever since I read the book and watched the movie The Yes Man. Basically i want to open myself up to more opportunities and experiences. I often say no to thinks as its much easier then going out of my comfort zone. I kind of sick of living that way though, i want to get out there! So i shall be saying yes to everything that comes my way.

I think that's all for now, do let me know if you have set any resolutions of your own and we can support each other along the way. It will be fun to come back at the end of the year to see how well its gone.
I am feeling super motivated at the moment though, i hope this mind-set stays with me all year!

Hugs & Kisses
    XOXO
